I finally caught this flick over the weekend. Was a lot of fun.

I was looking for 27x40 posters for this flick, because many of them look great, but I can't really find them anywhere (unless they are 11x17).

I got the blu for $11 from Amzon and damn the movie was great! I coulda done without the lame dick angle and the Nixon fight, a bit over the top.

Despite the fact that I hate the animation style, just like I hated the animation style on The Boondocks, that ("unaired" pilot) was amazing.

Considering this is an animated series and the ("unaired") pilot involved Black Dynamite fighting and killing puppets, I'm sure there's going to be no continuity between the events of the film and the series. That's something I'm okay with.

I loved that pilot. I'm donw for a series. As for The Boondocks comparisons, the animation on this show looks to have a far lower budget. Comparing it to The Boondocks is a complement.

Anyhoo, I hope this inspires them to release a special edition BD of the movie with the FSITO PSA's and "vintage" trailers.

I FUCKIN' LOVE the animation style of this and The Boondooks. I don't know how anyone could not like it.

I can see this series doing well.

Man, if only a technology existed where you could connect your Blu-ray player to the internet to download additional bonus material in the situation where it couldn't be prepped in time for the disc's release.

Man, I didn't think the cartoon show was going to be good. I thought the only way you could really parody that era well was with live action. But damn, that episode was too funny.

I hope they make more.
