DC/MD/VA Summer Outdoor Film series
All these film screenings are outdoors and open to the public, free of charge. Vendors may offer food and drink for sale, and some venues allow patrons to bring coolers with picnics. Check websites for updated schedules and the nearest Metro station.
Screen on the Green: Movies on the National Mall
Four classic movies projected on a 20-by-40-foot screen on the National Mall between 4th and 7th Streets NW. Films begin at dusk, but people arrive much earlier to stake out prime viewing spaces.
