I really hope this turns out well. The Wastelands is one of my favorite books, and I would love to see them adapt some of the set pieces from that.

Oh well, if nothing else I'll have a swift John Carpenter style action movie to enjoy . (Translation: something that will probably flop but get a devout following with time and leave people wondering what might have been.)

Those posters are great -- I'm a big fan of Jae Lee's artwork.


BTW, advanced tickets are onside at ArcLight theaters first showings are all at 7:19pm next Thursday. I guess "7:19" is an inside joke or something.

As a King fan, that was a cool video.

Really curious to see the first reviews of this movie. I'm really hoping it doesn't suck. I'll probably go see it either way though.

I can't put much stock into the Variety article. This is a very difficult property to translate and I doubt many executives even "get" the material.
