Good list, hardercore.
I certainly agree with #1. Including Almost Famous and United 93 in your top 10 is nice too. I don't know why people on forums get it right more than academys or magazines. |

No seriously, I was getting way too much shit for them to continue taking the time to write em. |

surprised to see Control mentioned a few times, as I thought Grant Gee's documentary was superior, and Control was a little bland (though still a fine film).

Re: Your Top 100 Films of the Decade (2000-2009).
There Will Be Blood (my favorite filmmaker makes his first masterpiece)
In the Bedroom (hits a nerve every time i watch it, often, oddly) 21 Grams/Amores Perros The Departed Inglourious Basterds The Dark Knight No Country for Old Men Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (perfect) In the Valley of Elah Man on Fire Batman Begins Royal Tenenbaums The Life Aquatic (probably my most rewatched Anderson film) Into the Wild Munich (I need to rewatch this, does it hold up on repeat viewings? ha) Casino Royale City of God Cache A History of Violence (Cronenberg has been on fire) Eastern Promises Master & Commander (had this been some sprawling 3hr epic, it'd make my top ten) Knocked Up The Aviator Punch-Drunk Love The Lord of the Rings The Prestige Memento The Mist Kinsey (mediocre film with a top tier performance from Neeson) Heist (Mamet, Hackman......!!!!) The Cell (yup) 28 Days Later Ali (I really like the director's cut, and think it's an outstanding film) Mulholland Dr. The Fantastic Mr. Fox Joy Division: The Grant Gee documentary Capturing the Friedmans Match Point Adaptation Minority Report Black Hawk Down The New World (the extended cut) Blood Diamond I Am Trying to Break Your Heart: A Film about Wilco Undertow (I loved the shit out of this, a personal favorite) The Fog of War Little Children Mystic River Cast Away (I think it's Hanks' best film) Zodiac The Pledge (Jack Nicholson is one of my favorite actors, and this is one of his best performances, imo, along with....) About Schmidt One Hour Photo (wanted to see more from Romanek, and Williams honestly) also, the decade was dominated with my love for The Sopranos, Lost, Dexter, and Nip/Tuck not 100, and not in order. |

So is this some sort of psychological cleansing exercise recommended by your therapists for you guys? God, it would take me all day to build an even somewhat accurate list of my "top 100" movies ever, let alone from a decade.

Apparently, Internet peepulz are forced at gunpoint to read and absorb exhausting threads in which they have no interest. I don't even know why we're bothering with Afghanistan while such a human crisis unfolds back home.
