You would think Lionsgate would wait for Knight and Day to open before remaking it.
Is this really the movie Heigl has been describing as an "action movie" in the past few months?
Is it possible for me to threadcrap in a thread I started, in the OP?

Too bad this sucks. Looked like a decent matinee or rental.

I hate Kutcher and I hate Heigl, so I can't imagine ever seeing this unless it's directed by Stanley Kubrick.

I'd love to see an interview a few months later with Heigl complaining about having to work with 'Zombie' Kubrick.

I actually had some interest in the early on. The wife prefers comedies and romantic comedies, so if I can get an action comedy thrown in there with maybe a little cleavage I can get pooints for going to a movie she picks and still get a little action. As a 6% on RT that is one that goes to the bottom of the rental queue until there is nothing left.

From the Killers Metacritic review:
What's hilarious is that the pull-quote is from the best review on the site.
It’s so ineffectual and unfocused that after it’s over, you’re not even sure you watched a movie.

Anyways...... I hate Kutcher and I hate Heigl, so I can't imagine ever seeing this either.

But I would be interesting to see Kutcher in a Kubrick movie, would it not? "Barry Lydon II"!

At the theater where I saw this, after it was over, someone shouted, "My name is Katherine Heigl, and I've just been Punk'D". That got more of a laugh than anything in the movie.

Man what is going on this year with the "Star-based couples action/comedy" genre. So far we have had The Bounty Hunter, Date Night, Knight and Day, and Killers. Aren't there a few more coming down this year as well?
Killers was bad, but I argue that it was at least on par with The Bounty Hunter. Neither is offensively bad, but they're both horrendously written, poorly directed, and generally a bit dull all around. There were a few laughs and a couple decently executed action scenes, mixed with some really lousy ones, but in the end it really did come off like a ridiculously watered down Grosse Point Blank. At least Katherine Heigl is still easy on the eyes and Catherine O'Hara is always great to have around.
I hate using the term but the movie was just stupid.

Either that or Jennifer Anniston is blowing a producer and in return he gives her roles in really shitty movies.

Saw this tonight on DVD, and I have to say I kind of enjoyed it. First half was horrible, and second half was predictable, but I still had fun. I'm not sure how this happened. Maybe I have lost all taste in film. Better watch some Kubrick to get myself back in line.

You're not alone. I too found it to be a fun little diversion. High art it's not but it did entertain me which is what I paid for it to do.
