Actors That You Can't Believe Are Dead
 

In a way, movies are a form of immortality. Performances are captured in their youth and prime while in reality, the cruel march of time takes our entertainers away from us.

While I can accept the death of a Hollywood legend like say, Robert Mitchum, there are some actors that I just find hard to believe that they are gone.

One such actor is Bruno Kirby. I watched Donnie Brasco over the weekend, and I am still stunned that Bruno died a few years ago. That distinct voice and impressive resume of films. Brandon Lee is another.

Heath Ledgers death was really shocking because he had turned into a great actor and its sad that we wouldnt get to see many other roles he may have played.

Burgess Meredith. I could've sworn I had heard he died after Grumpy Old Men. When he appeared in the sequel, I decided all bets were off and I eagerly await his return.

Not trying to threadcap but maybe a better thread would be actors you can't believe are ALIVE.

Abe Vigoda would top that list for me. He seems old in the Godfather and that was almost 40 years ago.
