So anyone else fallen in Love with the movie Triangle yet?
I have just watched this movie and was amazed at how good it was for a small flick that got little fanfare. I remember listening to Mark Kermode review it for the BBC and he liked it and its easy to see why. I see the director also wrote the story. Could this be another Christoper Nolan in the making? Anyway if you havn't seen this i cannot recommend it enough, and all i will say is try to read a little about it as possible. Many twists and turns and a great ending. Be interesting to hear peoples thoughts on it.

i would've fallen in love with it if not for the fact that it's a TIMECRIMES ripoff. i do think this has a better storyline but the idea is a complete ripoff of the aforementioned movie which i highly recommend.

The next Christopher Nolan? You must be on crack.
This guy's other films are Severance and Creep, which were both mediocre.
Triangle had a very good idea, but failed to execute, imo, of course.

triangle was fantastic, while timecrimes suffered a little in the acting area. nice to see another kermode watcher on here.

Agree with this, however I did not love Time Crimes as much either.

Amazon lists the aspect ratio on the Blu-Ray specs as 1.33:1. Is this correct or a typo on Amazon's part?

I watched this last night. It's fun and I liked what they tried to do, but it really felt like the script could've used a bit more work. There were quite a few unanswered questions, aka plot holes. I'd probably give it a 7/10 for what it is, but some more effort on the plot could've easily raised it to a 9/10.

Ok, Creep had some major issues in the third act, but I felt like the buildup, and initial chase stuff was really well done. Once you knew what was going on? Yeah, things fell flat a bit. Severance is just fun.
I liked Triangle, but thought I was going to love it. Now, instead of enjoying what I watched, I find that I'm trying to instead piece together how many
Spoiler:
Still, I'll watch anything this guy does from here on out. While his films might not be unbridled successes, they're fresh enough to satisfy. I've been meaning to watch Time Crimes for a while now. Might as well do that now, and compare.

Not the next Chris Nolan by any stretch, Severance was fantastic though.

I'm still trying to figure out why the comparison was made to begin with?
Is it because both this and Memento were confusing?

Saw this earlier tonight, it is a pretty derivative little flick borrowing heavily from Ghost Ship and Cube 2: Hypercube, moreso the latter. Haven't seen Timecrimes yet. This isn't a bad thing though, as I am one of the few that actually enjoyed Hypercube despite my own better reasoning (silly overall plot, questionable logic, lame deaths, poor acting .. but it was fun trying to figure out how it would all "really work")
Triangle was a better movie than both of those - nicely shot, adequately acted, conceptually fun, but the decisions the main character made throughout the movie just felt contrived to extend it out - it quite frankly got a little frustrating and silly. CG wasn't the best but didn't detract too much.
Still, it was mostly a fun movie that maintained surprisingly nightmarish atmosphere for its duration. Recommended, with some reservations.

It was a decent film. However some of the special effects ended up hurting it more than helping it. The director obviously wanted to make something ambitious on a small budget, but on a visual level, he didn't pull it off.

This movie was surprisingly enjoyable to me. Timecrimes, which I watched after Triangle, was very good but I felt that it was much easier to follow. Out of the two, I'd recommend Triangle over Timecrimes.
