That's the problem with most award shows...why can't a movie just be awarded for being entertaining and fun...that's what the movies are SUPPOSED to be about. I think makers of The Muppets have given us all a fantastic Christmas present.

Fun and entertaining is too easy. But to also literally be a good movie AND carry those qualities? That's great.

While I do assume this movie is going to be fucking great to see today...I'd be able to believe that it's also actually a well constructed film as well.

Saw it. Liked it while watching, and upon reflection, realize I loved it. It might have had melodrama, but it was 100% self aware of it, even acknowledging it. Segel delivered the goods, and Amy Adams was not given much, but it was obvious she was thrilled to be in the movie. I give it four out of five stars, or A-.
