yes, i did read it. fact remains, why the fuck would they send out a script to someone like this? pretty much ruins any credibility this production has when crap like this leaks out.

It all really depends on the Gwen Stacy they are going to use in the movie. Is it the hot blonde bombshell from the regular Marvel Universe or the cute-nerdy, studious blonde they used for the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon. If they are going for the latter, they could hire AnnaSophia Robb:

Emma Stone (Superbad, Zombieland, Easy A) has been offered the Mary Jane role, according to Deadline Hollywood.
The main contenders for Gwen Stacy are now Dianna Agron (Glee), Mia Wasikowska (Burton's Alice in Wonderland), Georgina Haig (Wasted on the Young) and Dominique McElligott (Moon).

Wow. I really like Emma Stone in everything I've ever seen her in but she is not a supermodel. MJ isn't supposed to be accessable, she's supposed to be near perfect physically. It never even bothered me with Kirsten Davis and her messed up teeth but this is a bit much.

While I would rather look at Emma Stone I feel like Kirsten Dunst's looks are bit more in line with a model if that makes any sense.
Emma Stone - Attractive in a quirky kind of way
Kirsten Dunst - Rather plain/kinda cute in a traditional (model) way

Re: Spider-Man (2012, Marc Webb)
Casting Emma as MJ really boost my interest in the film. Dunst portrayal was just so off from the comics, I had a hard time looking past it.
