Some of those "franchises" are pretty weak.
Patrick Stewart: Star Trek, X-Men, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Also, Wild Geese II.

Does it really count if the actor is in only one movie of a franchise?
[2] Kurt Russell: Escape from NY & LA; the Dexter Reilly Trilogy (look it up!)

What is the exact definition you're going by Toddy? A person has to be in two films of a franchise or just one?
Sam Jackson would have a few more if it was just one, same with Steve Martin, Stallone, and others.

i really think the actor has to be in at least 2 movies of 2 different franchises with 2 or more movies in that franchise to qualify or else the list would be endless and quite nonsensical.

Christopher Lee's filmography also includes:
Police Academy: Mission to Moscow (1994)
Curse III: Blood Sacrifice (1991)
The Man with the Golden Gun (James Bond) (1974)
He should also get a half credit for appearing in various Sherlock Holmes projects over the years, even though they're not actually part of the same "series" as one another.

Not sure if this counts, but what about Christian Bale? Batman and Terminator (though he was only in one, but I guess Salvation was a direct sequel)... Nevermind, it wouldn't count, but I'll keep this post, lol. And after the box office performance of TS, I doubt he'll be a part of any sequel.
