I thought it looked pretty good, and I like golf a lot so I think I will enjoy this movie. But does anyone know if it is supposed to be a really good movie or anything? What kind of reviews is it getting?

I really don't know but I agree it looks good from the trailer.

It is based on a book written by Steven Pressfield. I haven't read it but I read another Pressfield novel, Gates of Fire, and that book is great.

Good director (sometimes), good cast. It's got a lot going for it.

I've read it. The movie looks great- considering I like Matt Damon, Will Smith, Charlize Theron, and Robert Redford...

My opinion=this could be excellent if it achieves that old school, mystical, romantic sort of thing it appears to be going for. Or it could be a pretentious snoozer! There might be a fine line on this one. And is it just me or are Will and Matt doing Morgan Freeman and Matthew mcConaughey impersonations?

It would be nice if it turned out to be "The Natural" for golf, which it sort of resembles.

Is Will Smith going to act in this movie?

This movie looks as watching flies try to get off fly paper. Not one single image from the previews or the TV spots has really convinced me that this is anything but a cure for insomnia.


But thats my opinion.

It looks decent. I'm not sure if I'll see it theatrically, but it looks like a definite rental. Wow...the first time I'm actually planning on seeing a movie with Will Smith...
