Am I the only one that enjoyed Puddle Cruiser? I saw it at Sudance in 97 and laughed my ass off. Maybe it was the higher altitude.

I'd rank them:
Super Troopers
Beerfest
Puddle Cruiser
The Slammin' Salmon
Club Dread
As terrible as Club Dread is, at least it's ambitious...trying something different. The Slammin' Salmon just feels lazy and slapped together.

Is this typical for Broken Lizard movies?
One half goes: Their best yet!
The other half goes: The worst piece of shit ever!
If you're a fan of the guys, I don't see how you could hate any of their movies.

I'm a fan of what they do when they do it well. There are lots of actors I like who've put in crappy performances in crappy movies. Pretty much every stand-up comic I follow has at least a few bits that make me cringe. Quite a few of my favorite bands have an album or two I can't stand. Being a fan doesn't mean you have to think a performer is infallible.

Saw this a while back, it's a perfect Comedy Central movie. No more, no less. I have a feeling it will be played repeatedly on said station somewhere down the line.
The movie wasn't good but it had a few funny parts and is the kind of movie you can have playing in the background, chuckle at it from time to time, and keep doing what you were doing.

I found Beerfest to be a grower like that. The first time I saw it, it was just okay, but then I saw it again a month or two later and stuff like the high school kegger had me laughing like crazy. I'm also surprised that people seem to dislike Club Dread. I think Coconut Pete is one of my favorite characters ever. I haven't seen this new one yet. Just waiting on a good price.

Seems like some people weren't FELINE too happy after the show.
I'm a huge Broken Lizard fan and I wasn't disappointed.

I watched this last night. I enjoy Broken Lizard's films and this was decent but not great. I liked Beerfest more after a couple of viewings but I am not sure about this one. I will give the audio commentaries a listen next.
