Let's see...
Series:
James Bond: the first 12 of them, DR. NO to FOR YOUR EYES ONLY (13 if you want to include CASINO ROYALE, 1967, which wasn't really part of the official series). I stopped seeing them in theaters after that, with occasional exceptions over the years (e.g. LICENCE TO KILL, TOMORROW NEVER DIES and the two with Craig).
Directors:
Sam Peckinpah, from THE WILD BUNCH (1969) to CONVOY (1978) (I did catch up with the earlier ones in theaters during this run).
John Woo: THE KILLER (1989) to PAYCHECK (2003) (so far, I've only seen RED CLIFF on DVD).
Don Siegel: COOGAN'S BLUFF (1968) to ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ (1979)
Robert Aldrich: TOO LATE THE HERO (1969) to ALL THE MARBLES (1981)
Actors:
Clint Eastwood: TWO MULES FOR SISTER SARA (1970) to ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ (1979)

Re: What's Your Longest Movie Going Streak?
hmm thats a hard one. I was gonna say batman (i too saw Mask of the Phantasm in theaters at the tender age of 7, drug my dad to go see it), but i don't believe i saw Begins in theaters for some reason. I saw all 3 lord of the rings movies twice in theaters (if the big epic Trilogy Tuesday counts that is)

More franchise help:
http://www.boxofficemojo.com/franchises/
I forgot that I saw all the Rambo movies (Including First Blood) in their theatrical release. Guess I'll throw in LOTR and the X-Men movies too (Sans Wolverine)

Every KCostner film from No Way Out until Mr. Brooks ended the streak... Not that I didn't want to see it, just wasn't in theatres long enough... (not counting the Madonna film with the cameo)

Star Wars every non-animated one on first run, but that's only 6.
Pixar every one, I saw most of the shorts (Tin Toy, Knick Knack) at animation festivals in theaters too before Toy Story came out.
Harry Potter all
Coen Brothers: Every one except Blood Simple I saw when they were first released so that might be the longest
Quentin Tarantino: All but Reservoir Dogs
Wes Anderson all but Bottle Rocket (I still saw that before Rushmore came out, but I never heard of it before we rented the video).
I've seen every Best Picture/Director nominee before the show since around 2003, but I think a couple of those might have been videos. I see most of the acting nominees too, but sometimes I miss one.

Same with me except since Last of the Mohicans.
While I missed A Good Year, I have tried to see every Ridley Scott movie since Gladiator in theaters. Even if it's a movie in the "real world", he always has shots that are theater worthy.

Let's see...
Every Star Trek movie
Every Star Wars movie
Every Bond movie since Octopussy
Every Harrison Ford movie from Frantic through What Lies Beneath (would have been longer than that, but I missed Mosquito Coast in theaters)
Every Clint Eastwood movie (as an actor) from The Rookie until present (again, would have been more but White Hunter, Black Heart didn't play close enough to get to)
My Steven Spielberg streak would go all the way back to E.T. if not for the fact I didn't see Amistad until home video.

Saw in theaters:
All Batman movies since 1989.
The first 6 Police Academy movies.
Final Destination movies, opening weekend.
That's all I can think of right away, there are probably other streaks.
