Need movie help, VERY LITTLE INFO, though!

Hey everyone. I am drawing an enormous blank to a movie with very little info to give.

I am thinking of a movie, (presumably) a comedy, where the male character gets some sort of female approval. (Again, I don't know what exactly...) He then proceeds to scream, shout, cry, and yell "YES" over and over and over. Take note that he is going ballistic and literally crying from joy.

It is very reminiscent of when Conan O'Brien got kissed by Rebecca Stamos, but the movie/tv show (i doubt tv show, but a possibility) has the character crying, too. Conan was more angrily screaming "yes" while throwing furniture.

I am sorry for the lack of info. PS. my tastes are mainstream, with no foreign/independent movie knowledge...typical midwestern boy. so the movie is def. known

Thanks for even looking!

I was thinking Au hasard Balthazar, but you mention your film being a comedy, not an austere parable of saintliness.

Is it Back to School? When Rodney is daydreaming about his English professor?

Perhaps it was "The Conan O'Brien Story" starring Liev Schreiber

Sorry for not making a joke here, like our other fine forum members. Forgetting Sarah Marshall jumps to mind, could be way off base, though ...

(Damn, lost my evil post count.)

Maybe the scene in Date Movie "spoofing" When Harry Met Sally. I vaguely remember it but it sounds kind of like the description.
