Only watched one: Planes, Trains & Automobiles. One of the best comedies ever. Now gimme the damn thing on Blu!

Did you want to cry on Thanksgiving? Because that's what it would make you do. Awesome film though.

On my Thanksgiving viewing menu last night:

1. Ravenous (1999)
2. Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987)
3. Nightmare at Shadow Woods (1987)

Could be we grew up in the same house? That was my Thanksgiving fare, as well, and looked forward to it every year (this is before VHS players - the late 70's). I long for those days, and old channel 9. Thank you, Channel 9, thank you!

I ended up watching "Four Christmases" and "Push". "Twilight" was all rented out.

"Push" was good but other than Kristen Chenowith's tits, "Four Christmases" sucked.

Re: What are you watching on Thanksgiving?

My roommate came home and mentioned he had never watched The Thing, so we watched that on HD DVD. Then I mentioned I had never seen The Descent, so we watched that on Blu-ray. And then we started talking about Terrence Malick, so we capped the night off with Badlands. I hadn't even intended to watch any movies last night.

Re: What are you watching on Thanksgiving?

THe night before Thanksgiving I always watch Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. This year we didn't watch to see A Christmas Carol at the theaters so we stayed in an watched The Santa Clause on Thanksgiving Night, tonight we'll watch The Santa Clause 2, and tomorrow, The Santa Clause 3. Then we'll start to watch all the rest of our Christmas themed DVDs from now until Christmas.

My wife still can't believe that I consider the first 2 Die Hard movies 'Christmas movies' and insist on watching them during the holiday season every year.
