Lets see... a Philip Noyce action/conspiracy thriller starring Angelina Jolie shot by the cinematographer that did There Will Be Blood ... that stuff is all win in my book. Wimmer is mostly miss with me and the guy who I'm assuming did a rewrite is also hit/miss with me (Mystic River and Payback were fine, but both are based on books to begin with.).

Hope this is good, looks fun.

Looks okay, but I'm not eagerly anticipating yet.

I can see why Tom Cruise opted out. With him in the role, you may as well call it Mission: Impossible IV. Although, what if Angelina were too grab her neck, rip off her mask, and reveal herself to be Ethan Hunt, M:I-style? If that were to happen, I don't think I'd ever watch Gia again.

I have a friend who is a background character in this. This film was written with Cruise in mind, then he opted out because the payday was too low. They then rewrote the story for Jolie.

I like Jolie but the whole premise of the film seems dated. Russian spies in the U.S.? That may have been a hot topic a couple of decades ago, but nowadays I don't think anyone believes that stuff still goes on.

Tom Cruise being in this would be hilarious. This is essentially a contemporary version of Minority Report.
