Post your favorite movie of this decade (2000-2009).
the guys of "At The Movies" have been listing their top tens each week, say they posted for us to pick on website and it is a tight race between "There Will Be Blood" and "WALL•E", and i know we listed 25 not too long ago, but two more years and decade just about up. and these visual threads (though not required) are usually pretty cool.
Post your #1 favorite movie of this decade.
For me it is a real toss up. there have been so many good ones and "Oldboy" is the one i am probably the most passionate about, but "Batman Begins" has entertained me the most and most viewed. I'll go with the tie for decade best.

There are five or six movies that are tied for the title of "Favorite Film of the Decade (so far)". They are the films that have moved me the most and that stand out the strongest in my memory... And I'll take the OP's cue and post two of them:

Edit: And since everybody's doing it, I'll also mention "Spirited Away", "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly", "The Triplets of Belleville", and "Lilya 4-ever".

This is always a tough question. There are a few movies that I consider great but, for various reasons, I don't watch too often. Then there are two movies that I'll watch at anytime and they always make me feel good. The first is Superbad. Lots of laughs and plenty of nostalgia since it reminds me of my high school days more than any other high school comedy.
But I'll have to go with a movie that I can watch whenever, a movie with a great script and a great concept and very well executed.

Very easy. My favorite movie of the decade is also my favorite movie of all time. I do not, however, consider this to be "the best" movie of the decade. Simply the one I've seen the most and really enjoy watching.
Runners up:
Kill Bill Volume 1 & 2
Inside Man
Shaun of the Dead
Children of Men
Das Leben Der Anderen
V for Vendetta
The Departed
Oldboy
Spirited Away
Kung Fu Hustle
etc.
My favorite movies tend to be fun.
My favorite movie is easily:

Snatch.

Where do I begin? There were some amazing movies this decade produced.
Just to name what I would feel would be some of the films to make it into a top ten of the decade:

That's just what I thought of in a few minutes. Oh, so many...

To all the people listing like 10 different movies: which is your favorite? That is what the OP wants to know.

I was watching Batman Begins last night and it was much worse than I remembered. The difference between BB and TDK is really much greater than I had originally thought.
Anyways my fav of the decade is There Will Be Blood. Easy choice. Second place would take some serious thinking though.

I think I would have to go with Old Boy, just to pick one... But so many to choose from and that may change depending on my mood. But overall, Old Boy usually lasts for me.

The Dark Knight by quite a stretch. I don't have any other movies this decade that I recall being that in to and the lengths I went to in order to catch an opening weekend showing on an IMAX screen. Will always stay in my mind.

No contest. The only film I've seen more than twice (4X) in theaters this decade:
KILL BILL, VOL. 1
