Hi every one! I'm looking for a title to a movie I frist saw many years ago.
It was about a trapper living up north maybe canda and he was checking his trap line and the was a wolf catch in someone else trap. After seeing the wolf
suffer for days he released the wolf, But the owner of the trap saw him release the wolf and reported it to the police and when the police went to the man's cabin one of the police was beating on the door with the but of the rifle and the gun went off. And the guy inside thought the police was shooting at him and he shot and killed one of the police and then the chase was on. If anyone might have a clue to the title of this movie please let me know.

Sounds like Challange to be Free.

Based off of the comments on Challange to be Free shown above, Challange to be Free was a family movie while it's remake, Death Hunt, was for adult audiences.

First thing I thought of, but Bronson saved a dog from a dog fight by kicking a guy's ass in that one.

So maybe it's that other thing.

just wanted to say Thanks to all for your help!!! I'm 99% sure the title of the moive I needed was Challenge to be free.
