Mirrors 2, for some reason, is happening
From Dread Central:
Another sequel no one is clamoring for, Mirrors 2, is apparently proceeding full steam ahead, and today some details were revealed including the film's director and a brief outline of the storyline.
According to Bloody Disgusting, Victor Garcia (Return to the House on Haunted Hill) will be helming the direct-to-DVD project for 20th Century Fox.
BD also provided the following synopsis: After losing his fiancee in a car crash, for which he blames himself, suicidal Max Matheson reluctantly takes a job as a night watchman at his father's Mayflower Department Store. When his co-workers are killed off in gruesome and horrible ways and Max begins to see a mysterious young woman in all the store's mirrors, desperate to communicate with him, he fears he's losing his mind, or that he may be the next victim.
Filming begins in November in Baton Rouge, LA, which means we can expect casting announcements shortly. While we wait, here's the original's trailer, DAMNIT!!
**********************************************************
Now, I'll admit that the first one had some major problems, and it was kinda dunb, but I had fun watching it. This, however, sounds like a half-baked ripoff of the original premise. I didn't think the film even did enough business to warrant a sequel, DTV or not.

I woulden't go see a sequal to it. At least one of the deaths in the first one was impressive as a still shot in one of the horror mags... but the movie itself was just too lame for words.

I didn't think the first one was that bad, but I liked the original Korean version better. Knowing me I'll probably at least rent this, but I'm not too hopeful about it.

Mirrors 2: Reflections ...
... so his fiancee is the killer ... (My personal best was Snake Eyes, when I predicted the twist from the trailer -- somebody please let me know if I got this one right BEFORE THE MOVIE WAS MADE!!!! My wife hates it when I do that.)
