Not sure what the exact term is, but what are some movies that end in a "montage" showing what characters did after the end of the film? What's your favorite? And has any film ever ended like that only to have a sequel?
Right now, I can only think of Can't Hardly Wait as an example. |

National Lampoon's Class Reunion does it in reverse. During end credits we're shown the earlier high school yearbook pictures with predictions, nicknames, comments, etc.

The 2000 movie Loser has an epilogue as well. I actually thought that one was pretty good.
EDIT: That one is in words. Now I'm not sure if that one counts or not. |
