ET breaks news that acting legend Dennis Hopper has been rushed to a New York hospital.

Sources tell ET that the actor was brought in by ambulance to the emergency room at a Manhattan hospital, wearing an oxygen mask and with numerous tubes visible.

The 73-year-old Hollywood icon has been nominated for an Oscar twice -- for co-writing 1969's 'Easy Rider,' and for acting in 1986's 'Hoosiers.'

There would be quite an Elegy for the Memory of this man. But for now, he's not going to the Land of the Dead, and is keeping us in Suspense, hoping the Unspeakable doesn't happen. that sentiment gave me a Flashback of this True Romance I once had where I took 1 Giant Leap and then realized I Don't Know Jack about the Mysteries of Love. I took A Hard Look and came to the conclusion that I was merely Sleepwalking through life and that the Hell Ride of Tainted Love she put me through should be a lost Memory Forever. she thought I was just another one of those Knockaround Guys, but I showed her, when me and my Entourage, went to Las Vegas and just by the Luck of the Draw I picked the slot machine that paid out 24 million. I was on Top of the World, leading The Good Life, I was Reborn and finally said Sayonara to that Black Widow and goddammit...I got my Justice!
