Same here. It'd be a shame if he'd pass on.

He went because he had flu-like symptoms.

Wonder if he was given any medication for his illness that may have given him a Flashback
He is a tough guy though and will probably jump right back. You'll probably see him sitting by the River's Edge fishing in no time!

It's my fault. I was watching "Crash" for review and wishing for death. I think I accidentally wished it upon Hopper. NOT WHAT I MEANT!

When he does die (not that I'm wishing him ill, or anything) I hope they use that clip of him on top of Isabella Rossellini with the sash in his mouth from Blue Velvet in the Academy Awards memorial reel.

Wish him luck.
Dennis Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The 'Easy Rider' actor has now cancelled all his travel plans as he focuses on getting treatment through a "special programme" at the University of Southern California.
His manager Sam Maydew added: "We're hoping for the best."

^ Really? I always thought pancreatic was the big killer. We don't know what stage it's in, so there's still a chance for recovery.

Prostate cancer is one of the most treatable cancers around. It's survival rate to 5 years is 100% and 10 years is 91%.

james2025a, what year did you dropout of medical school?
truth is, if you're going to have to get cancer, this is one of the ones you'll want to get.

Sorry dude you're totally wrong, it's one of the "better" ones to get if caught early. My dad had it 15 years ago and has been fine after surgery.
