Re: Rotten Tomatoes Worst 100 Movies of the Past 10 Years

I've seen:

The New Guy (2002)
A Sound of Thunder (2005)
Deck the Halls (2006)
Good Luck Chuck (2007)
88 Minutes (2008)
Deal (2008)
Fear Dot Com (2002)
Twisted (2004)
One Missed Call (2008)

Of those, Sound Of Thunder was the only decent movie, but the special effects were so bad it made the entire movie suffer. However, I thought Deck The Halls was a cute holiday movie.

Re: Rotten Tomatoes Worst 100 Movies of the Past 10 Years

I've only seen 10 because I generally avoid shitty movies.

Surviving Christmas (2004) - I was bored and it was on. And I'm an Affleck fan.

Johnson Family Vacation (2004) - A friend and I watched this on TV because it looked stupid. It was.

Envy (2004) - Just saw it on TV. Pretty bad.

Good Luck Chuck (2007) - Another bad TV experience.

Code Name: The Cleaner (2007) - I was dragged to a free screening by some of my friends. I felt ripped off and those people are no longer my friends. Probably the worst movie I have ever seen. No redeeming qualities.

Deuces Wild (2002) - I was like 15 when I rented it.

The Covenant (2006) - I saw this in the theatre with a girl because she wanted to see it. She never had sex with me.

Battlefield Earth (2000) - I was a kid and it was a sci-fi flick.

Epic Movie (2007) - Same as Code Name: The Cleaner. Probably the one I feel the worst about.

Daddy Day Camp (2007) - It was on TV. It was also shitty.

Re: Rotten Tomatoes Worst 100 Movies of the Past 10 Years

I only saw one on the list: YU-GI-OH: THE MOVIE.

I counted 37 I'd either never heard of or had simply completely forgotten about.

I don't know what the point of such a list is, other than to give unneeded publicity to movies that deserved to be forgotten. Speaking of which, why wasn't IDLEWILD on that list?

Me, I'd rather put together a list of worst movies from the last ten years that were big hits or Oscar winners or critically acclaimed or over-hyped, e.g. MAGNOLIA, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, THE DEPARTED, THE AVIATOR, HULK, WATCHMEN, UP, STAR TREK, CADILLAC RECORDS, DUPLICITY, TRANSFORMERS 2, SHARK TALE, CHICKEN LITTLE, THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, WAR OF THE WORLDS, THE TERMINAL, MOULIN ROUGE, AI, THE GRINCH, etc. You get the idea.

I only saw one of the films, The Godsend, and it definitely deserves to be on the list.

Re: Rotten Tomatoes Worst 100 Movies of the Past 10 Years

My crap meter must be pretty good, only saw two of these in the theater, with disclaimers.

The Fog (2005) - Big fan of the original, and had a free ticket. It stunk.
Good Luck Chuck (2007) - Free ticket, and to see 60% of Jessica Alba's left breast. Horrible film.

The below I bought only because they came with exclusive bonus discs.

The Cookout (2004)
Yours, Mine, & Ours (2005)
88 Minutes (2008)

I've seen several of those movies and I can't disagree, they are terrible.

Glad to see 88 Minutes on there, what the hell were you thinking Pacino?! Couldn't even make it though the whole movie.

I never saw it, but I vividly remember the At the Movies where Roeper and then guest host Michael Phillips reviewed, or shall I say lambasted, the movie. I had to go back and watch the review again just to relive the experience.

Re: Rotten Tomatoes Worst 100 Movies of the Past 10 Years

Most of these are indeed terrible but I actually really like Gigli and 88 minutes (even with all the ridiculousness of it.) isn't that unwatchable.
I cant believe Alien VS. Predator and The ORder (ledger version ) didnt make the list.

I saw The Whole Ten Yards in the theater, but only because I had free passes. It was a laugh-free experience.

I can't believe it, a list of "bad" movies where I don't like a single one, not even remotely.

Haven't seen a single movie on that list. Hell, I've never even heard of 75% of 'em.

Wow...I actually haven't seen any of those movies on that list. There were a couple I contemplated renting to check out, but never got around to it. Guess I won't now.

I think I've seen two that are on that list: Bless the Child and Lost Souls. Yep, both were total pieces of shit.

I've only seen 2 of the top 100.

Dragonfly was completely forgettable but not terrible. The Fog was both forgettable AND terrible.

On that list I've only seen Master of Diguise and to this day I cannot figure out why it got such a bad rap.

I can't believe Testosterone is on that list, and Marci X isn't.

Re: Rotten Tomatoes Worst 100 Movies of the Past 10 Years

Well I guess they don't like Larry the Cable Guy, all of his are on there.

I've seen:

Surviving Christmas (2004) not every Holiday movie can be Miracle on 34th Street or It's A Wonderful Life
Because I said So - Obnoxious mother slut daughter
Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector (2006) better than Meet Dave
Deck the Halls (2006) it was pretty bad
Date Movie (2006) agreed
Johnson Family Vacation (2004) not that intolerable
Yours, Mine, & Ours (2005) I sat through it, my daughter liked it
Serving Sara (2002)
Good Luck Chuck (2007)
Christmas with the Kranks (2004) see Surviving Christmas
Code Name: The Cleaner (2007)
The Whole Ten Yards (2004)
Delta Farce (2007)
Battlefield Earth (2000) never saw it but I wonder if Travolta is still pushing for the sequel?
Disaster Movie (2008) sucked
Epic Movie (2007) sucked
Witless Protection (2008)

Those parody movies I'll agree had no redeeming value whatsoever. They weren't even funny by accident. I can't believe I tried more than one. I would have thunk Meet Dave would be there
