Silence of the Lambs - tough one but hannibal gets the nod.
Seven - Easy
Jurassic Park - Heat is a better movie but JP is more of a favorite.
Matrix - by a mile
Ed Wood - toughest matchup of the round
Fight Club - pretty easy
LA Confidential - meh @ shawshank
T2 - can't vote against it

Select your favorite movie from each of the matchups.
Matchup #1
Goodfellas vs The Silence of the Lambs- Ok, I just have to go with my gut here. I am far more often compelled to watch Silence than Goodfellas. If we're gonna talk morals, well, I just can't like any mafia cocksucking faggots. Sorry. The movies may make them look cool and all Rat Packy, but they are nothing but murdering fucking cowardly pieces of turd.
That said, Silence is damned riveting and nicely adapts the feminism of Harris' book. It's a kind of feminism that I can get behind, and that's saying a lot.
Matchup #2
Se7en vs Toy Story- Abstain. It's been so long that I truly remember almost nothing about either movie.
Matchup #3
Heat vs Jurassic Park- Heat bored me, Jurassic still entrances me.
Matchup #4
The Matrix vs The Big Lebowski- Not a big Coen bros. guy, but Lebowski was their shining moment in my opinion. Funny as hell and clever and very entertaining. And I HATE crime/quirky/heist movies.
Sorry, but Matrix 2 and 3 totally messed up the first one for me. I can only laugh at it now.
Matchup #5
Pulp Fiction vs Ed Wood- Ed Wood's fun, but Pulp Fiction is a movie I can never get tired of. The music, the quotes, the iconic images are part of my generation's DNA. It's a classic.
Matchup #6
Fight Club vs Fargo- If Fargo is The Simpsons, then Fight Club is South Park. South Park rules. That said, I still don't approve of ANYTHING about Fight Club's commie let's-blow-shit-up-because-we're-alienated-and-bored message, but it's a damn good film.
Matchup #7
The Shawshank Redemption vs LA Confidential- Shawshank wakes the righteous tiger in you! And you!
Matchup #8
Terminator 2 vs Boogie Nights- Boogie Nights is the greatest film of all time. T2 is awesome and would beat most of the other crap on this list, but...
BOOGIE NIGHTS IS THE GREATEST FILM OF ALL TIME!

I learned a couple of things. I don't hate HEAT so much I can't vote for it over JURASSIC, which I hate more. I don't hate FARGO so much I couldn't happily vote for it over FIGHT CLUB. (I have to admit FARGO has some good things in it. And HEAT probably does, too, although I can't remember what they are.)
But SHAWSHANK vs. L.A. CONFIDENTIAL? I hate both so much I couldn't vote at all in that match-up.

Boy, you just hate to hate, don't you?
This matchup list was pretty hard for me...only one on there that I don't like a lot (Ed Wood).
