Tickets go on sale on the 13th. I went last year for the first time and got to see Che and Gomorra. I definitely want to see the Haneke and von Trier films, and am also excited about Almodóvar's new movie as well as the new films from Breillat and Bong Joon-Ho (The Host).

Hmm, I didn't know Resnais was still making films. The Clouzot reconstruction looks intriguing.

He's made some pretty charming films in recent years. Most of them are on DVD.

speaking of Pedro Costa when the hell is 'Collosal Youth' ever going to get released on home video - I thought there was a rumour that Criterion is working on a dvd release(?)

pisses me off that a number of the films are Sony Classic Picture releases - I think Sony CP hates Washington DC cause we don't get their pictures til January when other markets get December bookings.

His <b>PRIVATE FEARS IN PUBLIC PLACES</b> was at the NYFF in 2007, and is available on DVD - terrific movie based on (of all things) a play by Alan Ayckbourn.
