I really like the Bad Boys franchise. However, Bad Boys II was way too long as some of you have already mentioned.

IMO, Bad Boys II should have been made in 1997 or 1998, not 2003.

They better try to get this one made soon. Smith turns 41 this year and Lawrence is 44.

I think the soonest we could see this is summer 2011 or summer 2012.

I enjoyed BB and BBII for what they were, mindless action films. That said, I might be interested in a third outing, assuming Smith and Lawrence are back.

Odds are, though, that the third film will just be 2 and a half hours of footage alternating between multiple angles of an explosion and the camera spinning around and around Smith and Lawrence as they look on.

I am absolutely disgusted at those of you who want this to be a 90 minute affair.

This is silly big fun entertainment . I want it to be crammed full of lewd humor and insane action for another 2 and a half hours. I want my moneys worth and Bad Boys 2 gave me a tremendously fun time at the movies and I felt I got more than my moneys worth and I am a very satisfied customer. This needs to be overblown and crazy and How dare you suggest otherwise.
Sony isnt dumb though and neither is Bay and I know he wont listen to you people saying to make it shorter and therefore less bombastic and impressive than it could be.

Well I would say it is anything but serious. It shouldn't be because its big fun entertainment.

It's only Mature and Adult in content. Certainly much more so than many of this summers biggest hits like Star Trek or Transformers or some space shit.

I want more fun summer movies like Bad Boys 2 or Lethal Weapon 4 or Die Hard 3..

I've let it be known before, but despite the conceit that it is overlong, I think Bad Boys II is probably Bay's best film and I thought it kicked some serious ass.... so you can bet I'll be there for Bad Boys III whenever it happens. Hell ya!

I love Bad Boys I. Especially the beginning when they play that cool tune...and the sky is orange...and they doing an arrest.

But I enjoy Bad Boys II more cause Martin Lawrence is freakin hilarious! Especially the part where he sees the rats getting it on!

And that driving scene...where they were throwing cars at them and never forget Will Smith saying "WOOOOOO! Now that one puckered up my asshole!"

Fucking classic! Bad Boys movies should never be taken too seriously. They are amazing popcorn flicks!
