Movie moments that give you absolute goosebumps

What are some scenes that at times give you goosebumps or your eyes start to tear and you feel like jumping out of your chair?

Here are some that makes me tear almost everytime I see them on occasion.

Rocky II:

Lionheart:

These are just a few lol

You are OUT OF YOUR MIND. This was one of the most unintentionally laughable scenes ever committed to film (in a movie FULL of unintentionally laughably scenes).

IMO, of course.

The first time I saw the film was at the first preview screening Universal held (in May of 2005). When that scene hit, the entire crowd just went fucking crazy.

Re: Movie moments that give you absolute goosebumps

I second the Superman helicopter scene. Especially, when Clark rips open his shirt to reveal the "S" for the first time.

And while I love the training scene in Rocky II, the part that gives me goosebumps is "Yo Adrian, we did it!" Of course, now the whole "Yo Adrian" thing is kind of a joke, but when used in context of the movie, it works.

I also like the end of "Rocky Balboa."

The baseball game (with the Garth Brooks song) at the end of "Frequency,"

The end of Karate Kid III when Daniel forgoes the usual bow to Miyagi and hugs him instead.

And call me a wuss, but when E.T. is saying goodbye to Elliott, I get a little choked up.

I'm not sure which part of the end of "rocky balboa" you mean, the end of the movie or when the credits roll. but for me, the credits do get to me because being in philly, the art museum steps and seeing everyone that come to the city going there to run the steps and the many reasons that people do it it always gets to me. especially the way it was shown in rocky balboa with the run from the first film and then just the random people that do it. someone wrote a book about those steps and the different reasons people who have done it have had but i can't remember the title.

Two things...
First, your opinion of my picks was not asked for.
Two, you came here to solely bash other's choices without contributing your own? And this makes you not a troll/threadcrapper how exactly? Get a life.

Re: Movie moments that give you absolute goosebumps

Here are some off the top of my head:

Mulholland Drive -- the entire "Club Silencio" sequence

The Third Man -- the final scene. BEST FINAL SCENE IN MOTION PICTURE HISTORY.

Brazil -- "This is your receipt for your husband. And this is my receipt for your receipt."

Synecdoche, NY -- "Die."

2001: A Space Odyssey --The stargate sequence, the airlock sequence, the Starchild

La Belle et Le Bete -- almost the entire movie, if I had to say one sequence probably the first time Belle floats down the Beast's hallway with the arm candleabras...

Blade Runner -- the entire opening sequence

Kwaidan -- the end of the opening story (the lady with the hair)

Dreams -- the foxes' wedding march

Almost sad to admit this but during Armageddon when the transmission fails for team 1 and they are preparing to drop the bomb when they know it wont work. Then you hear some radio static as team 2 starts to roll in.

Spoiler:
Actually, it was just the ending of Bourne Supremacy that happened after some of Bourne Ultimatum, unless I'm missing something.

While the rest of the movie left much to be desired, the final fight in the movie Ali where he enters the stadium to the point where it's over is so awe inducing that it almost seems like it doesn't belong with the rest of the film.

Re: Movie moments that give you absolute goosebumps

Where to begin.....

The Empire Strikes Back - Where Yoda lifts the X-Wing Fighter out of the swamp.

Rocky II - Where Adrian says to Rocky in the Hospital, "I want you to do me one thing....win!!!"

Superman: The Movie: Where Clark finds Lois buried in the rubble in her car and he yells, "NOOOOO!!!"

Star Wars - When Han flies in and saves the day for Luke, "You're all clear kid....." And Luke blows up the death star! Most satisfying ending ever!

Field of Dreams - When Burt Lancaster walks through the magic line on the Baseball Field and turns into an older Moonlight Graham.

Presummed Innocent - Don't want to spoil it for anyone, but the ending is goosebump city!

Re: Movie moments that give you absolute goosebumps

I always get goosebumps at the end of Unbreakable

Spoiler:
The way everything falls into place and you realize you've just watched a comic book origin movie and didn't really know it. The second viewing of the movie gave me several goosebump moments, as I was able to look at it in a whole new light.

End of The Prestige, definitely an ending that makes you want to see the movie again, and when you do you are watching a whole different film.
