Die Hard With a Vengeance (a little tricky but ultimately had to go with this one as its much more throughly enjoyable.)
Hard Boiled
Casino (if you choose otherwise please put down the crack-pipe and re think your decision.)
Schindler's List (DUH!!!!!)
The Big Lebowski (extremely easy pick.)
A Simple Plan (easy. Raimi's Best film ever easily)
True Romance (easy)

Which is why I voted for TMNT. I don't particularly like Casino but I'm not going to claim TMNT is a better made film either.

I have to echo that. Not that I would ever associate Schindler's List as a favorite movie to pop in on lazy a summer day, but I don't think I've heard anyone mention Blair Witch since about a week after it hit video.

After the initial Blair Witch craze, it had taken a lot of criticism. Personally, I found it to be scary and remarkably effective considering its low budget. I thought the actors did a pretty darn good job also. Overall, it has been unfairly maligned.

I am also most certainly not in the "Schindler's List walks on water" camp either. The film had a small number of substantial flaws. However, even if you don't give SL any credit for it's "importance", there is no way in hell it isn't a better film (or less "favorite") than Blair Witch.
