Entertainment Weekly's Top 20 Vampires of all time

I debated where to put this so...
op 20
1. Lestat, Interview With the Vampire
2. Christopher Leeís Dracula
3. Bela Lugosiís Dracula
4. Edward Cullen, Twilight
5. Bill and Eric, True Blood
6. Asa Vajda, 1960ís Black Sunday
7. Angel
8. Mr. Barlow, Salemís Lot
9. Schuyler Van Alen, Melissa de la Cruzís Blue Bloods series
10. Gary Oldmanís Dracula
11. Klaus Kinskiís Dracula
12. Zoey Redbird, P.C. and Kristin Castís House of Night series
13. Jean-Claude, Laurel K. Hamiltonís Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series
14. David, 1987ís The Lost Boy
15. Miriam Blaylock and Sarah Roberts, 1983ís The Hunger
16. Blade, the Blade trilogy
17. Eli, 2008ís Let the Right One In
18. Countess Bathory, 1971ís Daughters of Darkness
19. Selene, the Underworld trilogy
20. Caleb and Mae, 1987ís Near Dark

Let the riots begin on Edward Cullen being better then Angel

I'm surprised they thought to put Klaus Kinski in there.

of course TRUE BLOOD would rank higher than any of the established classics.

Re: Entertainment Weekly's Top 20 Vampires of all time

Sissy-boy from Twilight anywhere near the top 10= FAIL.

I don't know if they pick Lestat from the books or the movie (although I actually think Cruise was really very good as the movie version), but decent call, although considering how hugely influential he was, not having Lugosi at the top is rather a slap in the face. Without Bela, you got nobody.

EW has a MAJOR hard-on for anything Twilight. They almost always have some sort of news about that franchise.

Gary Oldman is only at #10?

No kidding. Hell, any of the vampires from the Buffyverse like Darla, Drusilla, Spike, and Angel are superior to a bunch of the ones on this list.

Its getting rather annoying all the love EW shows Twilight but IM sure it sells magazine quite well them doing so I guess I cant blame em from a business viewpoint.

Despite what you may think, Nixon was not a vampire.

Re: Entertainment Weekly's Top 20 Vampires of all time

This list is an outrage! No John Amplas? No Jay Robinson?? Not to mention George Hamilton???!

Really, though, couldn't they find a spot for Max Schreck? I mean, he was even played by Willem Dafoe, which has to count for something

Is this still the only Oscar-nominated performance as a vampire to date, as well?
