Re: Last Movie you saw at the Cinema

I saw Dredd 3D last week.
It was the first time I saw a movie at the cinema since Prince Caspian, over 3 years a go.
It was the first time I visited that particular cinema since the first Johnny Depp in mascara movie/turd.
It was the first 3D movie I watched at a cinema since Metal Stormestruction of Jared Syn.

Here's hoping it will hit the local discount theater. But,i doubt it,since it is R rated,is not entirely CGI,and does not star Kevin James,Eddie Murphy or Tyler Perry.

saw the new version of 'Wuthering Heights' yesterday - seemed like a film Terrence Malick and Steve McQueen (the director) made together.

Saw the "Lumpy" premiere at the Twin Cities Film Festival last night. Was better than I expected.

Re: Last Movie you saw at the Cinema

Giles, did you get to see Lincoln by the way? It got pretty damn crowded even before they let non-school people in.

yes, I barely got in, I had to leave early though since I had an uber-early flight out to LA the next day - so I really did not see all the movie. It was good, but not seeing all of it I cannot comment on the whole about the movie - sorry about the late response.

oh and saw 'Argo' last night
