I certainly didn't see this one coming - Kunis wins Best Young Actor or Actress at Venice.

I saw this in Toronto. I'm not sure "supernatural" is a good description and is somewhat spoilerish. I haven't seen the previews so I'm not sure what all has been shown. I'm a little lukewarm on it. I think the problem for me is that I can't tell the difference between good, bad, great ballet dancing - so much of the plot is lost on me. Without the dancing element it is a fairly standard and increasingly more familiar storyline. It's well shot/acted/paced - just left me a little cold.

I think it may be Mila Kunis/Jared Leto/Jessica Biel/Ron Pearlman. Where do you see Natalie Portman?

Alright, Portman doesn't have a cleft chin, the eyebrows are at different levels, one nostril is bigger than the other, and the laugh lines on both sides of the face don't match. Also, it appears that she is looking in a cracked mirror. It's very subtle but it's there.
Maybe I'm just seeing things. lol

Based on the trailers and the little I know of the movie, and this is just me speculating, but perhaps Kunis is playing the alter ego of Portman and thus the image that we see in the mirror is is a CGI amalgamation of the two actresses, and is Portman's realization that she and Kunis are really the same person.
If anyone thinks that needs to be spoilered please say so, but I'm just speculating based on the trailers, the image, and the way the two actresses normally look.

So this is opening the Philadelphia Film Festival on Oct. 14. I'm glad to be able to go, because I don't think I can wait till the wide opening in December.

Don't get me wrong. This movie looks cool as hell, and I very much enjoy seeing those two kissing... but it is kind of odd how girl/girl action is generally considered so normal for heterosexual women that no one is assuming this film is about lesbians... If there was a horror/thriller trailer that featured Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp making out, it would be assumed that the movie is ABOUT homosexuality.
