Actors that return to play their iconic characters after not playing them for years?
I'm not trying to think of comeback movies. I'm just curious about actors returning in some type of sequel or remake that they haven't been part of for many years. I'm especially curious about actors that did so pre-1970s. For example, did Eastwood, Hackman, Cary Grant, Bogart, Chaplin, etc. ever return to to play one of their early film career characters after a long stretch of time?
Sly Stallone - Rocky and Rambo
Harrison Ford - Indiana Jones
Sean Connery - Never Say Never Again
Bruce Willis - Die Hard 4
Lenord Nemoy - Star Trek (Abrams)
Charlton Heston - Planet of the Apes (Burton) (but doesn't totally count since he came back playing a different character)
Possible ones?
Jeff Bridges - Tron 2.0
Mel Gibson - Mad Max 4
Arnold - Terminator 4

Despite hating the fame that came with the character:

As for actresses...
Dana Barron as Audrey Griswold in 1983's National Lampoon's Vacation and she returned as Audrey once again in 2003's Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure.

I guess if everyone keeps on including videogames, then you have to throw in James Caan,Robert Duvall,and Marlon Brando for reprising their Godfather characters.
