I'll take a sequel !
This is about how I felt about it, as well. Ditch Lorenzo, show less shots over and over, and I'd watch a sequel.

I love that comic strip shirt Asylum has for this shirt

"This movie dares to ask what it would be like like if Debbie Gibson were the worlds leading Oceanographer."

A tad pricey though.

Just watched it with friends and pizza. It needed more shots of the shark eating ridiculous things, and less shots of the actors.

Oh man, this was awful. Deborah Gibson is the worst actress in the history of film. The special effects were as cheesy as expected, although there was a semi-cool shot of the shark biting through the Golden Gate bridge.

This movie sucked!!! I knew it would be terrible, but I was expecting lots of ridiculous shark- and octupus-related attacks, but there were hardly any!!!! Focusing on humans and dialogue was the worst mistake they could have made. Instead of an entertaining bad movie, they made an incredibly boring bad movie. HUGE disappointment.

There was a serious lack of Giant Octopus, as well. A lot of shots of Mega Shark, but the Giant Octopus wasn't really doing much of anything. A very misleading movie title, for sure.

I originally thought there was too much Giant Octopus, but it turned out that I was just fixated on Lorenzo Lamas' ponytail.

How could they drop the ball like that?

All one has to do is watch 60/70's era Godzilla movies to know people wanna see two giant creatures fight.

Sounds like Debbie Gibson and Snake Eater demanded more screen time.
