Which is your favorite installment of these franchises?
 

I know the argument of favorite vs best so pick whichever gets your wiener stiff.

I like all the 1st except Godfather 2 over 1.

Die Hard with a Vengeance (thats right its better than the first!)

and just FYI I like T2 best in the terminator Franchise and Indy 3 the best in that one.)

Alien 3 (The Restored Extended Edition): I'll catch major hell for this one, but what Fincher was original shooting for was on par with Scott's and I thought the end result was much more creepy. It doesn't hurt that it had a strong cast and much more fleshed out characters. Technically, Scott's film is still better, but the restored edition of 3 is actually more watchable. Aliens is an action movie, plain and simple; a great one though.

Die Hard: Top notch in all categories. With a Vengance comes a close second.

Second Die Hard flick. Love me some Fred Thomspon

Godfather. Brando is just too good in the film.

Aliens - I found the first one fairly boring and slow.
Die Hard - none of the others are really close, although the 3rd one was a lot of fun

Never got into the Aline films, so no vote there.

Die Hard 2 is the ones with the planes. I thought that one was more exciting than the first, so that would get my vote if it was in the poll.

Godfather 2 - I thought it was a more enjoyable film with the two stories of Young Vito and Michael.

Not a huge fan of the Alien Franchise, but I would probably say Aliens.

DieHard 1 is one of the greatest action films, and really set the standard. And John McClain is one of the coolest guys ever put on screen, so Yipee ...... Mother .....!

The Godfather, Part 1 is still my favorite of the 3. You have Brando and Caan, and that is priceless, and the ending when Michael settles all family business is one of the greatest scenes ever put on film. Although I still love the DeNiro scenes in GFII, I just think the Pacino parts are OK.

However, from that entire list, only Alien 4 is a bad movie.
