Re: G-Force
From the title, I was expecting a live action remake of my favorite childhood cartoon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoO5H_UKCrw

Re: G-Force
A lot of people are getting this movie confused with the cartoon. Hopefully, this trailer clears up the confusion. I will give this movie a shot. I have to admit, I laughed out loud at a couple of those lines.

Re: G-Force
Apprarently the 3-D was done in post (2-D to 3-D conversion) and I have to say from the 3-D trailer I saw it didn't look too impressive. Maybe I'm biased, but I prefer movies to be shot in 3-D, not converted later.

Re: G-Force
I had a pet guinea pig growing up, so the trailer made me chuckle. Guilty as charged I supposed. One thing that stood out to me was that Jerry Bruckheimer is producing this movie. This is his first 3-D film, so that has to be worth something. You can't look at this picture and think that kids won't just eat this up!

< Thinks guinea pigs are gross and wishes they'd change the name of this film.

I'm going to see it. It's got Tracy Morgan, Sam Rockwell, Will Arnett, Bill Nighy, and Zack Galafanakis. And the trailer didn't look wholly awful, which is more than I can say for most kids movies.

Re: G-Force
Suprmallet-- That is kinda my view point on it too. I saw Will Arnett and instantly had a smile on my face. I love that Penelope Cruz is also in this. You left her out!

I wanna hate it. I really do. Especially since when I first heard of it, way before the trailer, I thought it was a movie based on my favorite cartoon. Someone here corrected me and then some months later the trailer showed up, Still, the trailer didn't make me cringe as much as I thought it would and then there's the Bill Nighy factor.

Re: G-Force
I think her voice is so distinct that it will add to the movie. She definitely fits the character of "Juarez (voiced by Penelope Cruz) – Sexy martial arts expert". Haha. It will just be a new role and genre of film to see her be a part of. I guess that was my point.

Saw this movie tonight. Much funnier than I expected, although it does fall apart in the final act. It's nowhere near the level of classic Disney or Pixar, but it's far better than most of their recent output.
Nic Cage does a great job of disguising his voice as well.
