Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead (DTV)
No release date as of yet.DVD and Blu-Ray release will be UNRATED
Looks like fun so probably break down and get it.As long as it has good gore, to hell with the story, right?!

agreed! 2 is like one of my ultimate guilty pleasures and i have seen it like 4 times since buying the DVD. the first kill in it is unsurpassed in crappily acted CGI horror movies. i will surpass rent and blind buy for sure.

Looks fun.
I really enjoyed the first 2 (as everyone said the second film was surprisingly fun) so I'm hoping more of the same for this one.

The second one wasn't nearly as good as the first (which is one of my favorite horror movies) and from that trailer it looks like the downward trend continues but there appears to be plenty of T&A so that alone should make it worth watching.

I've enjoyed the first two so I'll definitely catch this one.

The first two were pretty good. Wrong Turn 2 was surprisingly good for a DTV movie and it was a lot of fun. I'll definitely be blind buying this when it comes out on Blu-ray.

Just finished watching this and thought it was fucking awful.
I wasn't expecting a great movie by any means being that this was straight to DVD. But man, they casted some really bad actors and there was noone even remotely likeable to root for. I think this film really lacked the tension and clausterphobic atmosphere of the 1st 2 films and I just didn't think it was fun to watch either.
I thought they did a really poor job on the makeup for "Three Fingers" and "Three Toes" To me it looked more laughable than scary. To me, the overall set design and production value of this movie looked really cheap. The special effects on several kill scenes looked really amateurish. There were instances where I felt I was watching someone's student film. Not surprised that this film was only a 1 month shoot considering how cheap it looked and felt.

I thought differently, I liked it (except for the coda).

Saw it the other night. It was alright. Probably not something that I'd ever watch again though.

Huge disappointment. And I loved both 1 and 2
Truly abysmal acting and effects. Made the first 2 look like huge blockbusters.
Too much bullshit, too little gore and mutants.

I loved one, thought 2 was eh, and liked 3 somewhat. It was great getting back to the serious tone of part one. I might be a few, but didn't care for the humor in 2.
Glad Three-Finger was back in this, good gore, average story, nice little DTV flick, IMO.

I don't think this really had the serious tone of Part 1. Especially with the ridiculous banter between the convicts. All of them were IMO just bad stereotypes and were poorly written characters (the Nazi, the badass Latino gangster, the con who is actually a good guy at heart and the over the top goofball who is just tagging along)

I would say "ditto!", but I rambled on a lot longer than that.

Re: Wrong Turn 3: Left For Dead (DTV)
Watched this last night and right from the get go with the bad acting by the 2 chicks, I knew I was in for a rough night.
I loved the first one. Thought it had more tension and action in it, as opposed to the outright slaughterfest that the 3rd tried to be.
But you know there'll be a 4th.....

I loved 1, thought 2 was just OK, and now I have my sights set low for number 3. My only problem is whether to rent or buy. The completelst in me demands I buy it, but my wallet says it's a free rental.

Definitely rent it if you absolutely have to watch it. I don't think this film is even worth a $4.99 purchase at Best Buy 6 months from now.

I watched this and Pontypool last night. Ponty won by a landslide (Ponty is a neat psychological-horror-type zombie movie).
I liked the idea of this film, with the convicts and all but nothing every seemed to click. I don't recall what happened to the female deputy gal in the movie, anyone recall?
