Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
Still can not understand how they show clips for tech awards but not for acting.

Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
Benjamin Button was a definite win

Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
If you go by most of the experts, this is Button's last win tonight (3).

I missed the first hour, was there outrage over Milk beating In Bruges for Best Original Screenplay? That's the only award I really cared about this year, and I can't see how Milk was even in the league of In Bruges.

Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
All 8 remaining TDK fanboys watching must be upset over TDK being shut out so far (side from Ledger of course)
|
Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
TDK can still win the Sound awards.
|
Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
Boom goes the dynamite rotfl
|
Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
I'll guess Slumdog.
|
Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.

Hey, Dark Knight finally won something else!
Richard King won an award in the same category for Master and Commander. |

Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.

For SOUND EDITING?!?!?!? Someone's getting punched in the twat for this. |
Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
Sweet, glad TDK won sound editing.
|
Re: The 81st Academy Awards — 2008 Awards Show Discussion.
I picked TDK here. I did go with Slumdog for Sound Mixing. Of course, one movie usually takes both.
