Very saddened by the wins for Cruz in the not very good at all Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Slumdog Millionaire for Cinematography.

This is actually awesome since IMHO you (and a small handful of others) are like the Bizarro of movie opinions. If you hate it, I'm sure to like it. :)

I just don't understand how they can keep crap like this, yet will do anything to cut a winner's speech off. -ohbfrank-

Sorry thats BS. Those movies did well. But, only 4 movies have ever done over a billion in box office. Their must be something that sets it apart. And for it not to even get nominated is crap.

This is a reminder to the movie folks in the audience that if you even make an adequate musical it will win Oscars, just don't crank out another Mama Mia!

This isn't bad. At least they picked some good, classic songs. Better than the opening bit, anyway.

The musical's corpse just got dug up, cremated, and reburied. Under a 50-ton slab.

So, the producers don't let Peter Gabriel perform his entire song but they let Beyonce and High School Musical kids do this crap?

That reminds me of a story Jackman told.

He was doing a play, post X-Men, so more and more movie fans were showing up; he had to kiss another actor, and some guy yelled out "Don't do it Wolverine," Jackman said he nearly lost it and struggled not to laugh.

Knowing everything that is going on is making me angry. I'm pretty sure the Beyonce/"At Last"/Zac Efron combo would've had me scourging the local Circuit City for a closeout deal on a TV.
