Hate to be the movie-dunce, but what film was it that Henry Fonda and Guy Pearce was the baddie?

I know Fonda played Frank James, but he was not really bad.

Also check out John Lithgow as a bad guy in Blow Out (excellent Brian DePalma movie with John Travolta) and Raising Cain. Not really a bad guy role but he does slaps his daughter in Footloose.
