No Days of Thunder?

I've always enjoyed Dead Calm too.

She basically played herself - cold, driven, willing to do literally anything to succeed - in To Die For but damn if she didn't nail it.

Cold Mountain and The Others are two other favorites that would not have worked nearly as well without her.

I guess i get to be the one to say Dogville litterally put me to sleep (that and i couldn't get passed the whole 'the set is a map' design.

Another great one. Awesome film. Great bitchy performance from Nicole.

I think I might be the only one that likes this one more than Squid and the Whale (which I thought was completely average and forgettable).

The Others. Not really for her performance though. I'm pretty sure any actress could have done the role just as well.

The thread title asks for favorite film, and the poll asks for favorite performance...which one is it?

Not exactly. That wasn't an option. If you don't respond, clearly you don't like Kidman. Or too busy to participate.

Ha! I just watched Margot at the Wedding for the first time last night. Thought it was excellent, but I was just going to say it's no Squid and the Whale.

More than just a bitchy performance in Margot. She plays a pretty shitty human being.

On the contrary-"none" falls under the "other" option. I stand by my answer... I hate the woman.

I picked To Die For but have always been a fan of Billy Bathgate...although I am not sure it is for her acting.
