For me it's A Christmas Story, Gremlins, Bad Santa, and Santa Claus the movie. That's right, who doesn't like a movie with Dudley Moore as an Elf and a flying sled powered by candy canes?

The Night they Saved Chistmas is great. I picked it up last Christmas whilst in the UK and had a blast watching it again after a lot of years.

For me though the most enjoyable movie is Santa Clause: The Movie. John Lithgow as a a great baddy and that 80's feel good movie atmosphere. Really enjoyable film.

In addition to those already mentioned, I really enjoy Millons - a very charming little movie.

Need television movie title

I am in need of a movie title that may have been shown on Lifetime. This is what I remember. A married couple, around Christmas time, wife (I believe) gets hit by a car and dies. The husband wasn't around. He has wishes granted and takes him back to see what would have been if things were different. They lived in an apartment maybe in NY. Can anyone help?

Possibly way off base, but your description made me think of a made for TV movie called, If Only with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Maybe that is what you are looking for?
