Oliver Stone will not make an "Obama" film. He only makes films about presidents who are complete disasters.

Since you can see four years into the future, please tell me who wins the next four Super Bowls.

I was hoping the Bengals would make the list. ;)

I've never seen "Other" win a poll, this is a first.

No one can portray the Chosen One.

^^^ He's going to make Star Trek happen, if you believe conservatives.

So are you following me around to make conversation, or to be a pest?

I just find you disdain for one contradictory to your love for another. You really are a touchy guy, no?

OldBoy 11-21-08 05:49 PM

the only choice on that poll that might make sense is Don Cheadle, maybe, actually, no not one on that poll makes the slightest bit of sense and i've made some bad polls in my time.

of course the hands down winner is Will Smith. i mean everytime he has done a talk show since the election they do a split screen of him and Obama, every single one!

Shia LeBeuf. With Dakota Fanning as the First Lady.

No, just someone who makes up his mind about individual matters without trying to adhere to a pre-existing philosophical system.

You really take what people say seriously. I'm sorry, I won't make the mistake of making a joke again.

If it's a joke, use a smilie.

As for Obama, I am not of the body.

ah, you require a smilie. that's not touchy in the least.

then why even comment in such a thread? save your politics in the politics thread! yeah, no smilie. this is serious thread now.

Tone doesn't really come through very well over the internet, thus the use of smilies.

As for politics, I made a quip, based on just having read a rather hagiographical account of Obama in this week's Newsweek. It was not meant to be serious, and perhaps I should have used a smilie for you, so you would not take offense at my making fun of the adoration some people have for Obama.

No offense taken, though it's the most unoriginal quip of the year, considering the context.

Well, that's why I don't write for late night talk shows.

True, but they don't need smilie faces for their jokes to work. It's unfair really.
