I'm tempering my expectations. Can't get around the fact that Stallone is 64....not 38. I have a feeling this film will be painful to watch at times. Forced action by tired stars way past their prime trying to recapture one last moment of glory.

Let's just hope for a roaring good throwback action film with not too many cringeworthy moments.

Huh? Are you serious? You seriously need to go get Undisputed 2 & 3 now, & see why I'm so against these lame wrestlers being in this movie when there are actors like Scot Atkins out there.

Looks like its sitting at 30% on RT. But most action movies are not rated very high so maybe it will turn out ok. I think the lower I have my expectations for this movie the better it will be. (Im hoping something like Punisher good but not great)

The cast of this movie kind of ultimately ended up a joke after all that dream speculation... i mean Arnie, Bruce, Dolph are barely in it. Stone Cold and whateverthefuck other wrestler arent actors, Statham is a 2000s star, Li is a 90s star, only Sly is the only 80s star, some fuck nobody badguy. Heck even Al Leong as Genghis Khan again would have been better and more true.

I see what your saying. Sequel wise..someone brought it up a long time ago in this massive thread. That after he's done governing..he needs to Bulk up and be in Expendables 2 kicking ass. Also...get the Rock. Hopefully with his new film, Faster, I can believe in him. I'd like to. Again..Russell...wtf?! Not in the mood for an ensemble role?!?! Wtf? You're one of the best in those roles!

the trailer I saw before 'The Other Guys' was quite frankly the worse trailer I have ever seen for a action movie. bland, terrible editing - total blah. still gonna see the movie, but the trailer was just plain awful.

Sylvester Stallone's private security team sprung into action yesterday when an overzealous fan allegedly snuck on to Sly's L.A. estate and tried to score an impromptu meet-and-greet with the star.
Law enforcement tells TMZ ... a member of Stallone's private security team called police around 3:30 PM and told cops they had performed a citizen's arrest on a 22-year-old male who got past Sly's gates.
We're told the suspect claimed that he simply wanted some face time with "The Expendables" star -- who wasn't home at the time.
The LAPD eventually arrived at the scene -- where they took the man into custody and booked him for misdemeanor trespassing.
According to police, the man is still in custody and is being held on $2,500 bail.
