question about 'the Girl Who Lives Down the Lane' (early Jodie Foster movie) spoilers
 

i ended up watching this on tcm for the hell of it and was really surprised at how good and creepy it was. i actually really knew nothing of it besides the brief plot summery on my guide, which doesn't really say anything. anyways, during the scene where old lady Hallet comes to the house the second time, the stupid 'emergancy broadcasting system' came on. when the scene started, Hallet had come to pick up the glasses, and noticed there was no seal, she also mentioned that she had talked to the school, then it cut out for about a minute or 2. when it came back, also , about the ending,

Also surprised by the brief nudity (that had to be a double right?) Also in regard to that scene and Sheen killing the hampster.

Very good movie, only real issue i had with it was the 70's porn type music during some scene's really dated it. outside of the soundtrack, the movie honestly doesn't scream 70's to me.

Can't help you with your question as I haven't seen this in 20 years but I've always had fond memories of it & one I'd love to revisit.

Anyway great flick, I wish they still made weird movies in this genre.
