Looks better than expected. I hope it doesn't play out like a 120 minute cock tease for a 4th movie.

If they ever re-reboot Bourne, he'd be a good fit.

Well there it is. I never expected this after it faltered in the early 2000s.

I’m already suspecting the psychiatrist has ulterior motives.

Same thought crossed my mind right out of the gate.

This trailer definitely has me excited though. Looks pretty damn cool.

Looks really good.

Who would have thought that this would be a sequel to two separate pretty much unrelated movies.

The M. Night Cinematic universe.

Not necessarily movies but Stephen King deserves all that credit.

I officially don't get M Night Shymalan. His filmography is bizarre. Test run. Great. Great. Really Good. Pretty Good. Okay. Laughably terrible. Just plain terrible. Rock bottom. Okay. Really Good.

Judging by his career trajectory I can only assume Glass will be great. And the trailer is pointing that direction.

Love it. This seems to indicate that the plot is pretty much taking the route laid out in the first movie: Beast is the muscle and Glass is the mastermind. I also remember discussing with friends when the first movie came out that the sequel would probably involve Glass making Dunn run a gauntlet through what he considers his lair or fortress. This preview seems to indicate that will happen.

I mentioned in the Split thread here a few small details others picked up on that suggest
Spoiler:
Mr. Glass was the mastermind in creating James McAvoy’s character at the same time Unbreakable was taking place which indicates that he created both the hero and the villain in this movie.

That would be an interesting dynamic to explore, if true.

Hmmm...I like that theory. What details are the ones to suggest that?

In Unbreakable didn’t Glass say he initiated the expreriment that found Dunn many times over? Glass didn’t really create them he found them.

The biggest theory I heard was

Spoiler for Split:
Spoiler:
In Split it was implied that James McAvoy’s character’s father was on the train that Mr. Glass derailed at the beginning of Unbreakable. Which set in motion the events that caused the mental health issues creating the Beast.

There is also a theory that one of the people Brice Willis brushes against when he’s discovering his powers was a young James McAvoy and his mother revealing his abusive childhood.

They may be nothing more than zany theories that M. Night Shyamalan had no idea about or, if he did, nothing more than Easter eggs. But I think it’s something worth exploring in Glass if true.

That theory in your spoiler is actually in Split.

Conan had a panel on his ComiCon show last week. Some clips are on YouTube. Bruce Willis was there looking happy again ... as opposed to the usual disappointed and annoyed demeanor. Made me feel kinda good ... I am a big fan of most of his heyday movies.

Hey, if the little kid in Iron Man 2 was actually Peter Parker, then anything is possible in a shared universe.

Really looking forward to see where this goes. I haven’t seen Unbreakable since it came out on DVD (despite owning it); guess I’m going to have to break it out in December.

I watched it on tv last night. Bruce was clearly drunk.
