I've seen a brief clip from this movie already, and I have a feeling that those fifteen seconds were the best part. :)

Saw this at Tribeca a couple years ago, it's not that good. Miller doesn't have a decent grasp of action/chase scenes, which comprises a chunk of the second half. Some good performances, but it's just not intelligent/entertaining enough to hold someone's attention. I'm sure there are some reviews out there.

noticed this came out today, and was wondering if it was worth seeing? it has currently an 8.5 on imdb.

Skip it.
I saw it tonight on a whim - one of those let's go to the movies and see what's out things - and decided on this among all of the other crap that's currently playing. I was pleasantly surprised. I mean Ted Danson, Bill Pullman, Alan Rickman, Mary Steenburgen, and Danny DeVito ALL in the same movie - it was like an 80s reunion! I really enjoyed it. Kept me on the edge of my seat and the twist-after-twist was just insane. Highly recommended, on my end. Didn't even know this movie existed until today. |

Thanks for the heads up. I was considering seeing this last night while my mom and a friend went to see Slumdog Millionair. I'm glad I chose to see Rachel Getting Married instead. |

It's always depressing to gamble on an indie and then feel like you've wasted your money. |
This movie had the 3rd worst opening of all time (or since Box Office Mojo's tracking beagn from 1982 on) :
Nobel Son only made $333,912 893 (only an average of $374 per screen this past weekend!!!!) |
I'm really shocked. I think I was more in to the fact that all of these people from the 80s were pitted in one movie again. I think it must have been more the nostalgia factor for me than anything else then.
And Eliza Dushku nearly naked. |
