Max Von Sydow is one of those actors who just started looking old at a younger age than others, being about 44 in The Exorcist.
Wilford Brimley is another. He was only about 50 in Cocoon, but was apparently playing much older.

I'll admit. I don't think I've seen another film after, w/ Von Sydow, The Exorcist until Minority Report. So maybe that's why I thought he was ageless in his....old appearance. Good makeup in The Exorcist in that case.

Yeah, von Sydow, at an older age, looks almost exactly like he did in old age make-up when he was younger. Sort of rare, actually.

John Hurt: He's always looked in his 50s-60s since I first saw him in Alien.
