the thing with 'Colossal Youth' is that I missed it because it was at a bad time, I will have to wait for my DVD of the film with my subscription to Cinema Scope to ultimately watch it.

You know what's worse? I was in the same predicament then decided to watch all the Godfathers one weekend. By the time we got to disc 2 of Part II there was DVD rot.

Now I'm waiting to get the BDs.

Miller's Crossing- I'm a huge Coen Bros fan and I've owned this DVD since 2003 but for some reason I've just never taken the time to view it.

Blade Runner- I've wanted to see this for quite some time and I own it on Blu-Ray but just haven't found the time yet.

I'm hoping to watch both of these films before the end of the year.

That blows. I fully expect to encounter issues like that once I finally start watching my older titles.

A couple that come to mind:

The Beyond (Fulci) - by the time I realized I wanted to watch it the DVD was OOP. Haven't found a price online yet that I'm willing to bite on.

Ran (Kurosawa) - Just haven't found the time yet. Last time I blind bought a Kurosawa Criterion it was between this and Kagemusha. I chose Kagemusha...

Kundun (Scorsese) - I basically want to see it because of Scorsese but it's one of those movies that always slips my mind while searching out new DVDs.

What's the deal with that? It was originally supposed to be included with the fall issue, but no dice. Costa is a director I've really been meaning to check out.

The only thing that comes to mind is the Godfather trilogy. I have no idea why.

If I had to guess, run-time would play a big factor.

No, this is the first I've heard of it. I'm in! Just in time for Halloween. Thanks for the info.

I've never heard of Grindhouse Releasing. Hopefully it's a worthwhile release.

I think it's supposed to accompany the October issue, but don't quote me.
