Which movies need a sequel or prequel?

Which movies do you think could use, benefit, or even need a sequel/prequel?

1. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (more books in the series)
2. 2010 (more books in the series)
3. Eragon (left hanging and more books in the series)
5. Incredible Hulk (another one with Leader would be nice)
6. Passion of the Christ (prequel needed)
7. They Live (this movie felt like a tease with something more epic to come)

The Golden Compass really needs a sequel (or a better ending). I didn't like the movie much, but the ending really leaves the viewer hanging. It felt like they just cut the movie before it was supposed to end.

I havent' seen it, but I think that it was always expected to be a trilogy or something, but given lousy box office returns that pretty much killed that idea

Ubreakable. Shamalamadingdong's best and most underappreciated film is the first act of a superhero film (with a tacked-on ending). I wouldn't mind seeing a second and third, not one bit.

Does The Godfather II count as a prequel? Because if it does, then you're wrong.

I'd love to see sequels to the following:

Big Trouble In Little China
Forrest Gump
E.T.

I think it's mentioned in his commentary but director Chris Weitz pretty much slammed New Line for pretty much editing the film themselves, without his participation - wonder if his cut is as bad New Line suggests, their cut wasn't any better IMO.

the sequel (in book form) was really kind of ridiculous.

I'd definitely be down for sequels to Big Lebowski, Master & Commander and Serenity. I'd really like to see a ZOOLANDER 2 and THE FRIGHTENERS 2.

THE OMEN 3.
I know about THE OMEN 4, but after the Anti-Christ is defeted and the devil chained up for 1,000 years and then released for one last battle. That would be a good c.g.i. fx movie and of course the happy ending.
