"Unintentional Fulci" should now be a meme.
For what it's worth, I think Let the Right One In was a better vampire movie: its story was more interesting, more mysterious, and the film absolutely dripped with atmosphere. Thirst is sexier (much sexier) and has more complex characters, but the story (although humorous) is very straightforward.
Oldboy seems it like would be the follow-up to Thirst: it was more assured, more complex.
All three are very, very good, however.

Just watched this on New Years.
I kinda liked it, but it was... weak overall as a film. Park is an interesting director so there were plenty of things I liked, but as a film it falls fairly flat.
The whole 'pansy turned vampire, tortured soul' thing has been done to death and it was irritating here by the end. The themes were a bit trite and and drawn out too long even at that.
I loved some of the effect shots:

Some of the humour was pretty funny.
